The Florida Assisted Living Association (FALA) is the oldest assisted living association in the state and has been providing advocacy, education, and regulatory support for members for over 30 years. Each year FALA hosts a conference & tradeshow for hundreds of providers, sponsors, and exhibitors in an effort to share crucial industry information to members and non-members.Click here to view website.
The oversized postcard was directly mailed out to members prior to the conference to promote the event and encourage registration. This asset was developed in Photoshop, cartoonized, and then pulled into InDesign for final printing. The logo was created in After Effects with several lightening and lens flare overlays.

The program was developed in InDesign with a multitude of images that were heavily manipulated in Photoshop to keep with the comic Superhero theme. The conference logo was created in After Effects and the fonts used were chosen specifically for their superhero look.

The registration desk was a fantastic and dramatic first impression as attendees walked into the pre-event space. Each of the six back panels were created with Adobe Stock images representing the different job positions that make up a typical assisted living community and then cartoonized. The font used was intentional kept with the overall color and theme of the conference.

The conference name badges were customized in Illustrator and merged with attendee names, company names, and QR codes. The QR codes were used to scan attendees that attended various sessions for continuing education purposes. An abbreviated schedule was printed on the back.

The general session stage was decorated with large banners emphasizing the superhero theme. A combination of Photoshop and InDesign were used.

This large multi-panel entrance piece was a conference favorite! Each panel was intentionally created around the superhero them and involved careful planning of each panel to create a symmetrical illustration of color, action, and information.

The main walkway into the conference area was heavily themed with the registration desk, large entrance piece (in the background), and several signs in the walkway.
