The Florida Assisted Living Association (FALA) is the oldest assisted living association in the state and has been providing advocacy, education, and regulatory support for members for over 30 years. Each year FALA hosts a conference & tradeshow for hundreds of providers, sponsors, and exhibitors, and in 2021 went back to a live conference experience with several precautions in place. This 2021 theme was all based around the show Survivor, while creating a tribal, tropical, and tiki feel to the theme branding. The fonts used and color gradients were intentional to create the desired look to compliment the conference theme. The event logo was developed in Illustrator.

This charging station was created to assist in providing "charging options" while also maintaining some social distancing during the conference sessions. Font choices were intentional while staying with the conference theme and colors.

The 10-foot tower was created from a stretchy fabric and wrapped around the metal frame. The awards ceremony image was developed from Adobe Stock assets and finalized in InDesign.

The other sides of the 10-foot tower were developed to showcase committees, sponsors, and board members. The design itself used old map elements, bamboo textures, and coloring consistent with the conference them.

This large meter board was developed to direct attendees to the health screening stations. The design utilized bamboo elements, parchment paper overlays, and a fun plug at COVID with a tiki idol with a mask on. All elements developed in Illustrator and pulled into InDesign for final printing.
